Do you offer teeth whitening services?
Yes, we offer Boost (1 hour in-office) & Nite White take-home whitening (7-10 days).
What types of insurance do you accept?
We accept most major insurance. Call us to ask if we accept yours.
Do you offer financing?
We offer financing thru Care Credit and Wells Fargo and some in-office financing is available also.
Do you accept credit cards?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover
I haven't been to a dentist in years. What can I expect?
Your 1st appointment will include a full health history and oral cancer screening. We will also take x-rays for a comprehensive exam by the doctor and provide a cleaning of the teeth by a licensed hygienist.
Do you provide dental services for children? How young?
We see children of all ages - we recommend to start taking your child by the age of 3. We may refer your child to a specialist (pedodontist) if necessary.
Where are you located?
We are conveniently located in beautiful downtown Dunedin, just across the street from Mease Dunedin Hospital at 822 Milwaukee Ave.
What are your office hours?
Our office hours are Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with lunchtime appointments available daily.
What is sedation dentistry?
Sedation dentistry is perfect for you if you have anxiety about dental work or if you have gag reflex or just have time restraints and would like to complete all work in one visit. It is a way to be in a consciously relaxed state.
What are Veneers?
Veneers are a thin porcelain "jacket" that is placed over your existing tooth to correct or fix most cosmetic problems. They are placed on front teeth to transform a person's smile. They can close spaces, change the shape of teeth, whiten stained teeth that resist conventional whitening and repair chipped or cracked teeth.
Will my dental procedure be painful?
No - We strive to make every visit comfortable, pleasant and painless.
What is TMJ? Do you offer treatment?
TMJ - Which means temporomandibular joint, is the "hinge" that connects your lower jaw to your skull. A TMJ disorder can be pain when opening your mouth or stiffness - tenderness in the jaw popping & clicking and even locking of the jaw, among other symptoms. We do offer treatment from anti-inflammatory medications to mouth guards/splints. We may refer to a TMJ specialist or oral surgeon if necessary.
Do you provide estimates for extensive work?
Every patient will receive a written estimate prior to treatment. We provide a written estimate from something as simple as a filling to something as extensive as a full-mouth reconstruct.
I've lost a crown. What should I do?
Call us ASAP - you may be able to put your crown back on. If not, then you will want to get a new one immediately to cover and protect your tooth. Also, it will keep your teeth from shifting, which can contribute to TMJ.
